On a pleasant Sunday morning and atop a terrace venue, 8 teams played out league matches initially trying to top their respective groups and qualifying for the knockouts. Group A was dominated by TCS who won all their league matches whereas Shoppers Stop emerged the 2nd best by prevailing over the Citrus Pay Team & holding the Disney team to a draw. Disney finished the third in the group by also drawing with Citrus Pay who finished at the bottom of the group.

In group B there was a double league played as one team did not turn up between Indigo Airlines , Kotak Life & Motilal Oswal. Indigo won all their matches comfortably whereas it was a tough affair between Motilal Oswal & Kotak Life who drew their first league match and went into their 2nd league match as a virtual quarter final. Kotak Life had the goal difference advantage starting into the match and a draw would have seen them through. They started well scoring the first goal but the 2nd half changed the situation tremendously with team Motilal plundering three back to back goals within no life shell shocking the Kotak Life team. Motilal Oswal eventually won 4 - 1 and marched into the semi finals.

The semi finals were played between TCS & Motilal Oswal and between Indigo Airlines & Shoppers stop. TCS and Indigo won on expected lines over their opponents to set up a mouth watering final.

The finals were played aggressively and witnessed yellow cards being shown to players. TCS started with a lead and were on course till the dying moments when team Indigo equalised to set up a penalty shoot out to decide the winners. 5 shots (one bounce goal to goal) were allotted to both the teams and in a nail biting finish Indigo emerged victorious at the end scoring 2 of the penalties to TCS's 1. In true sports man spirit both teams congratulated each other for their fine performances in the absorbing final.
